Art by Mail

A monthly limited-edition fine art print, field sketch, and letter from my painting practice in Amsterdam.

Each month begins with a place, somewhere in Amsterdam, elsewhere in the Netherlands, or occasionally farther away. Somewhere I think you should know about. A landscape, a particular tree, a strange bit of light, or simply somewhere that makes me stop and look.

I sketch, photograph, make notes, and bring those observations back to my studio to paint.

Each month, you’ll receive three records of that place:

• THE EDITION | finished observation
  A 5x7 limited edition fine art print, printed in my Amsterdam studio with archival pigment inks. Each print is signed and numbered by hand and made exclusively for that month’s members. The final edition quantity is determined by the number of members receiving it. Once the edition closes, it will not be reprinted.

• THE FIELD SKETCH | immediate observation
  A postcard reproduction of a sketch made in response to the month’s place, with its location, coordinates, and a small field note.

• THE LETTER | personal observation
  A handwritten letter from my studio sharing the story behind the place and painting, along with observations from life and my practice as an artist in Amsterdam.

• PLUS | the soundtrack + little extras
  A playlist of what I listened to while I was walking/sketching/writing that month, plus occasional little souvenirs from my wanderings.
  

Three observations. One place. A new edition every month.

Billing & Editions
Membership is €10/month. Join by September 24 to receive the September edition. Your first payment is made when you join, and your membership renews automatically each month. You can cancel anytime.

September's edition will mail after signups close. Beginning in October, join by the 20th to receive that month's edition. Join after the 20th and your membership will begin with the following month's edition.

Once an edition closes, the final edition quantity is set and each print is signed and numbered by hand. Closed editions will not be reprinted or made available to future members.

Shipping Notes
Shipping is included in your subscription. To keep the monthly rate accessible, envelopes are mailed as standard post without tracking.

✈️ International mail can take 2–4+ weeks to arrive depending on your location.
